We introduce the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabi at age 5 and begin developing and exploring the basics of classical ballet technique. Ages
3-7 Class
sizes are capped at 12 students per class. A waiting list will be provided and
you will be contacted in order if a position opens -3 years old CREATIVE MOVEMENT once a week -4 years old PRE-BALLET once a week -5 years old PRE-PRIMARY once a week -6 years old PRIMARY once a week -7 years old PRE-GRADE 1 (once a week with the option to attend twice a week) ******************* Traditional Classical Ballet training continues following the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabi. Developing elegant, strong classical technique on a firm musical and Artistic foundation. Dancers also begin to add Contemporary styles Jazz, Modern and Hip Hop to their programs. Dancers now attend ballet 2x per week and contemporary styles once. Grade 1 -5 Class sizes are capped at 15 students per class. A waiting list will be provided and you will be contacted in order if a position opens
-8 years old Grade 1 ballet (may also take Jazz 1) -9 years old Grade 2 Ballet, (may also take Jazz 2) -10 years old Grade 3 Ballet, (may also take Jazz 3 & Modern 3) -11+ years old Grade 4 Ballet (may also take Jazz 4/5 & Modern 4/5 & Junior Hip Hop) -11+ years old Grade 5 Ballet, (may also take Jazz 4/5 & Modern 4/5 & Junior Hip Hop) -PERFORMANCE CLASS - Grade 4 up by Audition and Director's invitation
******************* ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE VOCATIONAL LEVELS (new students placed by teachers in a placement class) From 12years + a carefully balanced program allows the more advanced dancers develop individual artistry with secure, accurate technique in all their styles Ballet Modern Jazz and Hip Hop. ( highly recommended that students of these levels participate in 3 ballet classes per week) 12+ INTERMEDIATE FOUNDATION & POINTE 13+ INTERMEDIATE & POINTE ADVANCED 1 & POINTE placement class for new students ADVANCED 2 & POINTE placement class for new students CLASSICAL VARIATIONS (must be on pointe and at a level technically to handle the classical technique necessary) TEEN BEGINNER (once a week)
