For your convenience registration may be done in several ways. List of 2010/2011 classes is below Please read and complete the registration information on BOTH pdf files and return them to us in the following ways. Fax forms to #404-0477 The administrator (Mrs. Debbie Ferguson) will contact you by e-mail with the confirmation of your billing and registration. All current Coastal Dance students are assured a place in a class. If a class fills up another will created to accommodate everyone.

LIST OF DANCE CLASSES 2010/2011 JUNIOR SCHOOL CREATIVE MOVEMENT ballet 3YRS PRE-BALLET 4YRS PRE-PRIMARY ballet 5YRS PRIMARY ballet 6 YRS LOWER SCHOOL INTENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAM (Grades 1-5): Once the dancers enter the Grade One level of ballet they should attend twice a week and are now able to add Jazz to their program. At the Grade Three level, they may add modern. When a dancer is 10yrs old they may also add Hip Hop to their schedule. GRADE 1 ballet twice a week (7+), JAZZ 1/2 GRADE 2 ballet twice a week (8+), JAZZ 1/2 GRADE 3 ballet twice a week (10+), JAZZ 3/4, MODERN 1/2 GRADE 4 ballet twice a week (10+), JAZZ 3/4, MODERN 1/2 COASTAL DANCE PERFORMANCE CLASSES 1 & 2: GR4 +, (MUST BE 10YRS+). Auditions will be held in June for these classes. For this class Dancers will be invited by the Director . when she feels that they are ready technically and show the amount of dedication needed for such a class. Dancers in this class may be asked to participate in the Coastal Dance Theatre productions like the Nutcracker and possibly the Spring “In Concert” Series. There is a $30 fee associated with this class and all dancers must be enrolled 2 ballet a jazz and a modern class along with the performance class.
UPPER SCHOOL PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM: Dancers must participate in 2 Ballet classes (3 highly recommended), Classical variations (if applicable), 1 modern, 1 Jazz or Hip Hop INTERMEDIATE FOUNDATION BALLET, MODERN 3, INTERMEDIATE FOUNDATION JAZZ & OR HIP HOP INTERMEDIATE BALLET, MODERN 4, CLASSICAL VARIATIONS, POINTE CLASS, INTERMEDIATE JAZZ & OR HIP HOP ADVANCED 1 / 2 BALLET, MODERN 5, CLASSICAL VARIATIONS, POINTE CLASS, ADVANCED JAZZ & OR HIP HOP HIP HOP JUNIOR HIP HOP 10YRS-13YRS SENIOR HIP HOP 14 YEARS + COASTAL DANCE THEATRE SOCIETY (Junior and Senior companies): dancers are invited by the Director, Micaela Archer-Shee. Dancers must be of the Intermediate Foundation level, on pointe and display diversity in their dancing. Dancers chosen for this youth company are required to be part of the Pre-Professional training program and demonstrate a high level of technique, commitment and dedication to their training. (There are no tuition fees associated with being a CDTS member)
